| Over the years, many of our projects have been weekend, summer, or vacation retreats. Whether located on the shores of Long Island, the coast of the Dominican Republic, the mountains of Colorado, or woods of Wisconsin, GPIDC designs all weekend homes to fit with the surrounding landscape and vernacular architecture. In choosing materials, we aim to stay local and keep maintenance and general up keep to a minimum. Our goal is to create spaces that appear as though they have always been there, that capture views of the surrounding nature, that respond directly to the site, and that function well all year round. |
