| Trump City Center in White Plains, New York was the first luxury skyscraper to tower over Westchester County. The beautifully appointed building brings a new standard of luxury condominium living to suburban New York. GPIDC was asked by the developer to design his Penthouse apartment, utilizing the building’s standard finishes where possible and upgrading where appropriate. In the kitchen, standard cabinets were finished with an ebonized stain, the floors fitted with a blue terrazzo, and the countertops done in onyx. The floors in the living areas were covered with planks of Mexican travertine and the master bath was fitted with walls of translucent back-lit onyx. In the Master Bedroom, the cashmere-lined custom bed floats in the room's center, taking in views of Manhattan on the horizon. |
