On Windmill Lane, just steps from the ocean, two attorneys from Manhattan commissioned the construction of their weekend dream home.  They hired GPIDC to refit the builder’s plans, design the interiors, add the warmth of detail, and site the pool, pool house and the adjoining gardens.  Although the house was new, the owners wanted their home to feel warm and established.  Together, we decided on the English Arts & Crafts as a point of departure, and set out to design a house that was both casual and comfortable while determiningly rich and interesting.
